Blah... I think we should live with that red-eye thing. Every cameras (except slr maybe) seems to have that problem. I think it's kinda normal.

and the s400 got a red-eye on/off thing

Doesn't have to be DSLR. Just need a hot shoe for ext flash. Many models to choose from that have one, but not small like S400 or even A70/80.

Bah... I'm not spending extra cash for an external flash

I do not need this for what I'm doing with the camera anyway.
