are there still problems with canon lcd's cracking

In my research, I noted that there was a lot of trouble with people having the LCD crack on their Canons. While most said they did nothing that should have caused it to happen, it still seemed to occur frequesntly enough to be a concern. I have not seen as much about this recently and wonder from Canon owners, does the problem still exist? I was specifically looking at the SD550,SD600 or SD630. Thanks.
