Checking Lens Exposure Accuracy
Checking Lens Exposure Accuracy:
I have the Canon D-60 and use the EF 28-105mm, 100mm macro, 100-300mm, & the Sigma 15-30mm lenses. Most of my work involves the 28-105mm...and I've noticed a lot of underexposures since getting the D-60. Now this may be the lens itself. Or it could be the way I'm taking pictures...since I'm still mastering the D-60.Is there a way of testing the 28-105mm (or any lens) for exposure accuracy using the Kodak 18% gray card in a home copystand setup? I have the Testrite CS-3 kit, which includes (4) 75W lamps in reflectors...(2) on each side.Maybe this will tell me if I need to employ regular exposure compensation.
Comments? Tips? Suggestions?
Many thanks.
