Error 99 with Power Packs
I was shooting on location with a Calmet Elite2400w/s pack...I have used this many times in the studio and had no problems but this time the camera would not fire the paclk and an ERROR 99 appeared. I could reset by removing batteries but you can hear the camera lug down a lower deeper tone than normal and would not fire the pack. I am expecting the camera is protecting itself against the pack. I am wondering if someone has went through this and if someone has sent in the Camera to Canon after such and instance to be checked...I would also like to find solutions. I know I can get a Pocket Wizered but would like to know other alternatives..
I HOPE I DID NOT DAMAGE THE CAMERA...
