Help Fast question

my pics are to big in file ( i know i can resize with psp 8 but is there a way to take htem where they wont show up so big??)
if someone can explain to me in baby steps HOW i do this on the Rebel I would be so thankful!

Presumably you have it in the default config of "Large Fine"? This means it'll output JPG files of typically 1.5-3Mb each shot.

Turn on
Press MENU
Quality will be lit up - press SET
You'll see a list of six modes - two large, two medium, two small.

Try them all, see how the size of file versus quality of image compares.
