Has anyone tried the Olympus FL40 dedicated flash with the 10D? :?:

... Just a guess but that same cord would not fire an older A-TTL Canon flash on the 10D (the 10D does not need a cord since it can do this wirelessly in E-TTL). If you can put that FL-40 flash on Auto and use the X-sync contact only it would probably work (that's how I use my Metz 45CT-5) and not use the camera E-TTL (ie on manual)!
