I bought a couple or so packs of those Belkin LCD screen overlays from "99 cents" store and gave 'em away to friends and family who have DSLR's

Unfortunately, when I went back to the store, they didn't have 'em anymore. You should be able to find them at Staples, Office Max, Office Depot, etc...but it'll cost you more than 99 cents.

Hi Coolcat,

Radio Shack has LCD proctectorsfor Digital Camera/camcorder, (I'm sure they are the same as the PDA covers). They seem to work great. If you cut it to fit just slightly smaller than the screen (don't let the edge dangle over the edge) it will stay on for a very long time.

Yes, the BG-E3 fits on both XT and XTi bodies. All the lenses for your XT will fit the XTi...they both have the same EF / EF-S compatible mounts.

If buying new, buy from a reputable Canon authorized dealer like B&H, Adorama, etc. Avoid the $300 or so new bodies you may see, they're nothing but scams. Going price from a legit seller for the XTi is $799 (body only) or $899 (body w/ kit lens). If you find a seller selling $100 below these prices, they're more likely scams...where you have to order a bunch of overpriced accessories in order to get the camera.

I too just ordered the XTi and should have it in a few days. My problem is I have a less than 2 year old Rebel 6.3 SLR that this is to replace. What would be a fair price to get for it? Comes with the standard lens and a second high cap. battery.

Got the camera today and really like it. I had the Org. Rebel 6.3 and this is as fast as it is. Like the bigger LCD. Only problem I have and it could be me is how to get it in continous mode. I did what the book says where you push the button and are supposed to get single, continous mode, and timer. Than chose. Mind don't show the continous mode. Is there something in setup I can't find that needs to be set first before this is availible. I have a 4 gig card so room isn't a problem. Help.:?
