Hi,

I've been shooting either JPEG or RAW since I got my 30D. I decided to try shooting RAW + JPEG (S) and assumed that I would get a RAW file plus a small JPEG. When I transferred the photo's to my computer however, it appears that two JPEGs of identical size were produced... and no RAW. Am I doing something wrong, or is it a problem with my camera?

Thanks.

same question I just asked. As far as I figured, its RAW on the camera. If you transfer via compact flash reader. I noticed when I do it by camera, it changed it to .jpg before the transfer

Sorry, hadn't read your post. And thanks for the advice. Guess I'll have to get myself a card reader! Does seem fairly strange though!
