Default Lenses

Hi,
I own a Canon AE-1 with a host of lenses. Could anyone tell me if these lenses will fit on the Canon EOS digital models? Thank you.

Nope!

Theses are the FD type and are not autofocus! They also have electrical contacts on the newer EF instead of lever for stopping down the lens or a plunger for minimum aperture. I know since I also own quite a few older FL lenses as well...

canon has tweaked their mounts for various reasons and of course if you want the new toy you need to get the new glass. don't feel bad though i just moved over from nikon to canon. that was painful.
just ordered up the 70-200 f2.8 L IS USM today. another psychotic episode with the credit card.

Have you determined if the 1Ds is color blind in the infrared as well as the 10D?

extremely low sensitivity. can just barely see an IR LED on a remote. it probably cuts off just below the visual range. oh bother.
