Had a problem with my 20D.but it was clearly the thumb screw that tightens the add on grip. You have to get that thing screwed in tight as heck.

My grip screw loosened while I was trying to catch a pic of a black bear in Glacier Park in Montana last year. Almost threw the 20D in the lake!

I'm glad you got it fixed, I suppose it would be maddening having a camera with a problem. My F2SB has never missed a beat, either has my Leica M3, or F90x, or FE or FE2, my 5400 either.

My buddies 5 week old $8,000 Canon is in the shop. Actually, it's been in the shop for over 8 weeks, he refers to it as his K-Car. He really hopes that it comes back soon, it supposedly takes great pics and has great technical specs, not counting his sensor with all the fall off and poor edge control.

Enjoy the nice camera buddy.

sounds nice to be able to upgrade to a FF sensor someday, and not have to rely on sony for sensors

My buddy finally recieved his 1DS back from repair. Total time in the shop 10 1/2 weeks.

If he would have taken his $8,000, and invested in a stock UUU-X, on the Venture, he would have over $12,000! He could have sold it today, purchase a real camera like a D200 or D2Xs and still have his $8,000.

Well, that's what I did. Now I can rib him for life, because I did a "told you so".

I have to admit, the Canon is a nice piece of gear, I really appreciate the technology that's in it. That being said, it's overpriced and unreliable. I will take the money and the Nikon, and go shoot some pictures.

You have made an offensive post, and it's not appropriate here.

Coming into a dedicated forum and putting it down while expounding the virtues of another brand is generally considered trolling.

BTW: Nikon reliable? search on BGLOD
Something as simple as a change of CF card and you need a new circuit board.
Yup Nikon is reliably *rap :-)
