We just got a 5D at work and I've noticed that the lcd screen has a very strong yellow cast to it. When I shoot anything white, it will appear light yellow. Blues will tend to look green. I did not have this problem with the Digital Rebel we were using previously. There's nothing wrong with the pictures it's taking, when I view them on a computer they look perfectly fine, but on screen it's impossible to tell if the white balance is good because of the yellow. I've been having to shoot everything in RAW just to be on the safe side, which can be an inconvenience when shooting for lower resolution web graphics (that's not all I shoot, but a lot of it is).

I haven't found any options in the camera settings that would allow me to adjust anything other than the screen brightness. Am I missing something here, or is this possibly a defective screen?

Thanks

Have you got the White Balance set correctly for the type of light you're shooting under?

Otherwise, you'll see various color casts on the LCD display as well as on the photos.

The white balance is of course set properly because the pictures do not look yellow on the computer screen. It was the first thing I suspected and I tried a number of different settings, eventually resorting to manual white balancing. It always looks yellow, unless I lean really really far into the blue. Then it's green.
