Default EOS 10D "corrupted data" message

I'm new to this forum and a new EOS 10D user. I love the camera, but I'm concerned about the number of "corrupted data" messages I've seen when reviewing images in camera using the info button. I've seen this maybe on 4 to 5% of the images. The images themselves look OK and download OK but the image data cannot be retrieved. Anyone have any information on this?

I think you have a "bad" CF card.

I'm working with three CFs (and a XdriveII) - SandiscUltra, Kingston, Apacer.

SanDiscU, Kingston = 0.000 bad pictures
Apacer ~ 5% bad pictures

Try another card!

Sounds like a bad card to me as well.

Some pictures are bad in camera, other after reading to Xdrive or PC ----> ergo: it's the CF!
