Neil, I thought you were busy making money.:-)That's a beautiful sillouette.

Thanks again, that civil war battle gave me a chance toknowmore about theXTI. I changed lens frequently rigth on the battle field withwind and dust everywhere, I couldn't find a safe place to do that, so far no dust in camera yet. Not all third parties batteries are the same, I had twosets/2 ea., they all have the same capacity, the cheaper ones last longer than the more expensive one. This camera is quick to turn on and shoot, the on/off button is on top with the lever tip to the back, push it forward you are ready to fire. There is no top lcd, you can expose it in the sun for long period of time where others with top lcd have to move into the shade, by noon time I wasthe only one out there shooting the fighting. Canon is popular, I saw the equal part of XT and XTI,these are the majority at these events, a few 30D, the next group is Nikon, I saw one Pentax, I spot two film cameras.

That's the sad part of the civil war, now the fun part.

You'd rather die on the battle field than end up in the hospital.

These guys love to take pictures in the middle of the gunfight. Did we have digital cameras in 1800s?:-)
