I just got a 300D/Rebel off a lady that was "nonfunctional", when I got it home and charged it up, it functioned fine, but then I notieced there was no CF in it. So I went to install, it wouldn't go in.... Hmmm, after inspection, I found the issue, 4 pins are bent.

Anyone know if you can easily replace this interface portion? I only bought the camera for its lens but, it does have 3 batts, a charger box manual etc.

I was going to call them on Tuesday and see, for what I paid for the 3 lenses and the hard case ($60 total), it might be wortht he shipping etc to get it repaired.

When they give you the instruction to send in your camerafor repair, write a note you need them to test your camera for other defects, clean the sensor, they can do that real quick, probably no charge.
