I'm about to go to a place next weekend and I will have to bring my laptop and do some remote shooting and I was wondering what would be the best remote shooter software out there that's freeware?

I'm going to use a usb cable and my canon rebel XTI.

Derek, glad you found out the answer and I think that anything from Breeze is good (I use BreezeBrowser Pro for all my galleries) and have not looked at this before but will be doing a portrait shoot at a charity event in June so will probably give this a bash so people can see that shots they want to order.

Thank you. I'm going to test it out on the lappy today if the weather permits.

I have a question? I know I'm a ghost hunter and I know most of you are probably non beleivers and all that good holesum stuff. Anyways I want to know about a long very long usb cable? I'm looking to get like a 20 foot cable? Any suggestions?
