Yesterday i dropped my Flash. I picked up the flash, reloaded the batteries and switched on the flash.

The message on the back LCD started blinking. The Switch OFF button doesnt seem to work. Only way to switch off is by taking the batteries out

None of the buttons are working

Any one have experienced similar problems with this flash Unit

You might want to take the unit apart...

The On/Off is a mechanical slider hence the plastic part could come off disconnected from the electrical switch behind it

Well, if I was you, it would be time to open the flash and see if I could fix it. Probably, as mentioned, a mechanical piece snapped during the impact. Could also be that a solder spot on the circuit board cracked.

If you do open it, be very careful, the capacitor could still have a high charge in it and you can get a serious shock out of that little sucker if you touch any of the electronic components inside!!!!!!

If you don't feel comfortable opening it, I guess it's time to take it to a repair shop.
