What I have read is that the company which is predicting this is, also predicted exactly the same thing before the 10D came out.

Maybe it's being made and they just got the timeframe wrong? Or maybe they just like to predict what people want to hear to get traffic?

Don't know.

Well Canon is playing this one different. None of us are under NDA because none of us have been told anything about it to prevent leaks before release. We'll find out on the 20th with everybody else but we've been told that it is revolutionary. Whether that means it is a new low-end or high-end dSLR we don't know. Two days or so and we'll all know for sure. You gotta love this business :P

Yeah Im pretty pleased with my 10D so far. Once I fully get down the features, etc that I am not using having the capabilities of playing with... Ill be all set. I ordered that 10D 2DVD set thingy on how to use your 10D. I figured I would check that out. I know you guys can all help me and such, but sometimes its easier if I can see what is going on, etc.

Im excited to see what Canon brings to the market as well... But I think it would have to be something spectacular and very well priced for me to be anywhere's near upset on my desision of purchasing the 10D.

What is the definitive evidence there is even going to be an announcement. If nothing has been disclosed how do we even know that

How about a Canon Japan web page for the EOS-300D ?

http://www.canon.co.jp/Imaging/eosdigital/index.html

Have fun, maybe by tomorrow night Canon USA will grace us with the press release and some photos, in the meantime check out the above URL, it's all there!
