Hello All,

With Nikon's D3 & D300 announcement I started to think if they would work for me better than my 5D.

When I completed PP on this photo shoot of a concert, I felt very re-assured with my 5D's ability to capture moments:

All shot from my seat as a member of the audience, all ISO 1000 or higher, all shot with the 24-105L IS 'kit' lens.

( Please note I used my 5D's Live View function.....My Zigview, best camera accessory that I have ever owned ).

Glad your comfortable with your current equipment. For what your shooting, the 5d is more than up to the task. The benefits of something like the D300 will be felt more by the sports /wildlife shooter.

Nice work, and it's important to remember that most of us are getting the results we need from our kit and that when something new comes out we think "oh should I be changing to that". Part of me wishes I was a Nikon user now so I could get a D300 but being honest I know that Canon are still doing the business for what I need moving forward. Yes probably with the current launches Nikon has better offerings but looking at the big picture things always even out.
