whats the difference between RC-1 or RC-5 remotes for the 450d

I think they are simply different designs, look at the link below and scroll down, shows the RC5 wth a circular design and then a RC1 which looks like a key fob sort of thing:

yes all i could see was they looked different, i dont know if anyone has any practical use of them and could say which one and why is better?

I have one for my Pany FZ30, used it to avoid camera shake, it was easier than using the timer.

didnt know you could get wireless remote for fz30, i have a rubbish cheap wired one

The RC1 has the option of a 2 second delay.
