Well my wireless remove just show up at the door, box has already been opened and a test run done. This remove is cool, works great single or mulit shot and can be fire from anywhere in the room.

Try sending an e-mail to that company asking if they have a remote for the Canon 450. The one I bought from them is for the Canon 40D and works very well so far.

For the 450D (XSi)? Sure they do! I'm going to order one myself. Thanks for the link!

shado, which did you order? as the 450d isn't listed yet on their website, they said they will list the 450d after 25th July 08
It looks like the MQ-NW3 should work as it works with the 400D

(wish i didnt buy the canon wireless remote IR, its next to usless. Works from about 300mm from the camera, unless your in front of the lens, taking images of yourself)

Perhaps your RC1 is defective? My RC1 works from as far as 6 or 7 meters outdoors. I've had my RC1 since 95 and never had to change the batts in it.
