Default d50 ?Loud?

What exactly do people mean when they say the camera is loud? Does that mean the actual clicking of the camera or something else?

Where did you hear this mentioned as that might help, however it is most likely the noise of the shutter/mirror? If that is the case then it is not overly loud for a camera with a fast shutter mechanism.

I read it on the bottom of some of the reviews at Amazon I think. I thought maybe they were talking about noise in the photo.....I have been on so many sites pricing things! Seems like all of a sudden more kits are popping up! Good for me! But my head is spinning as to which one to buy!

If they are talking about noise in the image then it is probably slightly higher than the 40D when you compare per pixel but as you have a higher resolution this all comes out in the wash.
