Default Ordered the 50D!

Ok looks like I jumped into the world of DSLR! Can't wait till it arrives! I went with the kit lens 18-200mm Figure that will be a lot to work with over the summer and then I will figure out what I need.
Thanks for all the help!

I think you probably mean the 50D (EOS-50D) versus D50, since you posted this in the Canon dSLR forum. The D50 is a Nikon dSLR model (discontinued now). ;-)

In any event, congrats on the new Camera!

Default 50D maybe?

If it is the 50D (or even the Nikon D50) then congratulations. I am looking hard at the 50D myself.

You Lucky Dawg, I'm still saving for the package I will be getting "Canon EOS 50D with Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM and 70-300mm IS USM", in a very few short months (They just, seem horribly long." Oh well, good things come to those who wait. Congratulations...let the learning begin

I ordered the Canon 50D. Orginally I was looking at the Nikon D90. But I really like the way this camera felt in my hands, love that it can shoot up to 6.5 frames per second. I am sure once it comes I will have a ton of questions! I really hope I can get some nice springboard diving photos of my kids!
