Default remote for a Rebel T1i

I'm looking to invest in a remote control to assist in taking long exposures with the camera when mounted on a tripod. I see wired and wireless models being offered. What works well with the T1i?

Thx

You need the Canon RS60 E3. You can also get copies of this by 3rd party suppliers but I don't have any details.

try on e=bay: 2in1 Remote Control for Canon 350D 400D 450D 500D. works like a charm and it's not expensive.

I use the RS60 E3 with my T1i and it's just fine.

From the Canon website:
This remote switch, with a 2-ft. cable, replicates all the functions of the camera's shutter release button.
