Default Canon Digital Rebel sample shots

I LOVE this camera.
Here is a link to a few shots I've taken over the past few weeks.
This site will improve/grow as I experiment more.

I'm surprised at how little noise was on the one you shot at ISO1600. I've not taken mine over 400 yet.

Actually, that image was "cleaned-up" using a program called NeatImage. There was high ISO noise in that image originally, but as you may know, the Rebel does an excellent job at ISO 1600.
Thanks for looking.

nice captures, THX for sharing. What did you shoot with before you bought the 300D?

Thanks for looking.
I had an Olympus C-5050, before that a Nikon 990, Nikon 950, Nikon 900, and several different Kodak digicams.

No more wasting money on slow, point-n-shoot cameras, I finally have a digicam that will satisfy me for several years.
My wife has also had it with my digicam spending :-)

My latest purchases are a Canon 420EX flash, and a Canon 55-200mm USM lens, and an extra battery to complement the Rebel 300D, so I'm all set.

Yeah, my wife wants me to go back to buying crack - she says it was cheaper than digi cams - HA! I've really been impressed with the battery life on this 300D.

I bought some crack once, but she was much more expensive.

Default How do you like your 420 flash

Nice Photos. Where was the airliner shot taken from? How do you like your 420 flash unit? I was thinking of getting the 550 but it over $300. Any issues with the mid-line line model??

Thanks
