Default Image preview settings

Hi,
My EOS rebel screen showed the image prior to taking the shot (in addition to being able to see it through the viewfinder). it now does not do that, and I can't find any instruction on how to reset that feature. I liked being able to see the image on the screen, it was useful at times.
How do I reset it?
thanks!

Hi Kmrose,
Welcome to Steve's. It sounds like you where using the live view feature, however you should not be able to see through the viewfinder at the same time this feature is active. Knowing which model rebel you have will help figure out your issue though.

Well, my friend who has a xti 400 called Canon and was told his camera does not have that feature--sorry. But mine is a, Digital EOS Rebel xt. I thought I read about that feature once, but maybe mine doesn't have it either. Strange about memory--thanks!

Well, we have an XT also and it does not have live view. The only thing I can think is that you had the picture review on so you could see the pics you have already taken.
