A great adenda. If the canon 550D has a plastic body, how do you attach it? It seems you need a metal body here for the magnets to act.

I think, I'll make a DIY holder for display viewer so it fits ALL my cameras :-)

Iīm thinking about buying this or the LCDVF for my 550D. How well does this finder fit the LCD of the 550D? And whats your experience? quality? thanks!

Most of these 3" viewers are made for 4:3, but I think they also fit for 3:2 (like Canon 550D). There's no big difference.
Of course Digifinder is "cheap" made, but more than € 50 is searobbery. If you look through it, size of display is really big - and NO sun !!! Even with tiltable display you have to fight against sun. Best of course is LUMIX GH1/G2 with tiltable display and electr. viewer with 1.440.000 pixels.
