It's very nice, if lenses fit for all cameras ... soon also für SONY NEXs

Samyang 85mm/1.4 and Samyang 8mm/3.5 (made in Korea)

available for Canon, Nikon, FT ...














price for each lens ~ € 230 = $ 290

Available with a variety of nameplates including Vivitar, Bower, and Pro-Optic.

Yes :-) One is Walimex, the other Samyang.

Why buy another "name" for more money, hehe.

85mm/1.4 is excellent for 1920x1080-lowlight-videos with Canon & Lumix.

Actually, the Vivitar (for the Nikon mount) is the cheapest version of this lens that I've seen.

Perceptible difference between Canon 550d and Lumix gh1 results with the same lens.

Yes - Canon has crop 1:1.6 and FourThirds has 1:2.0
Canon=180° (diag.), Lumix a bit less.

I think it resizing from 12 / 18 mpixels to 800x450
