Default Issue with Screen on Canon T1i

Good Evening All!

I have a Canon T1i since September of 2009.

I was using it earlier today and got the strangest thing happen. The screen comes up as if it were a negative image. The colors are completely off and the pictures on the camera screen look as if they were a negative effect.

When I look at the pictures on my computer they are fine, so I don't think its anything with the operation of the camera. It seems to be an issue with the camera screen itself.

Anything I do on the screen looks like that negative effect.

Luckily I am still under warranty, but wanted to see if anybody has seen this issue.

Thank You all for your time.

No I have never seen it, just call up canon in the morning at newport news and set up a repair.

When I had issues with my t1i, the turn around was about 4 days. Newport News is very quick.

Agreed on that. I sent my T2i in to Newport News to get the flash mechanism fixed (the sensor to check if it was up wasn't working). Turnaround was very quick and they did an excellent job.
