Default 5D Mark II & d-lighting

With other brands/models (e.g. Nikon D300) you get a slower FPS w/ d-lighting on. From the spec'd 6 FPS down to 3.8. Does this happen with Canon's version of "d-lighting" and the 5D Mark II?

Also, what is the 5D Mark II's real world FPS? Is there a specific way the 5D must be setup to get it's rated 3.8 FPS consistently?
