depending on what you like to shoot. 125mm could be short.

If it is the non os version, at the long end, it is not that sharp.

But it is 80 dollars, it will give you better reach then the kit lens. And it is not expensive at all.

Its not the OS version, but I thought for $80, I could play around for it, I would use it for outdoor walk around.
I would like to get a 18-135 is canon, but just can't justify the $$ at this time, I thought this might be a nice vacation, beach lense.

You really can not go wrong for 80 dollars. It is not a bad lens. Just avoid the 110-125 range as it does see distortion and it is a bit soft. But under 110 it is not bad.

I have a kit Canon 18-55 is, and a Tamron 70-300 di LD, I HAD a Canon 28-135 is until the dog knocked it of the table.
So I am looking for a inexpensive quick fix walk around lens under $150. I like the 18-55 but wanted a little more reach.

The Sigma 28-135mm is a similar "budget" lens and it's an amazing optic for the price, so if you're able to get the 18-125mm for $80 I say go for it!
