Default KodakGear 80-210mm lens

Has anyone tried this lens on a decent D-SLR camera ?

I now know its a Tamron 80-210. my issue is that its only 49UKP (79USD) so It got to be rubbish !?!?! hasn't it ?? or is it worth a try.

To me, if I was to spend anywheres the $1000-1500 range for a DSLR, I wouldnt be skimpin' out on the lens. If its a lens to get you by, I wouldnt even go for that. Get a low end Canon lens. Almost all lenses, you get what you pay for. Unless your getting the 50mm f/1.8 from Canon that is almost impossible to get my hands on... :evil: $70 bucks... man. Now thats a deal!

http://www.samys.com/ I just ordered one 2 weeks ago and they had them in stock then.

I thought as much. As I have seen posted many times. You get what you pay for. I've just ordered a Canon 75-300 F/4.0-5.6 III USM Lens.

I'm sure its a *much* better choice based on a few recent postings in this area of the forum.
