7D nice camera but i just turned the edge of acquiring K-X to 550D because 7D is expensive as you said. Also i searched for entry level, if i am correct single numbers in Canon means professionals. May be my next camera can be 1D if i believe myself more and more in photography.

Viewfinder: that's one of the reasons i got a 7D. Didnīt liked the 550D viewfinder. No 100% viewing, etc. Do you use glasses?
Actually this is really interesting point, when i was using FZ38 there was not a problem like that in viewfinder, when i look at viewfinder expacially bottom i see numbers but when i look at focus points bottom gets blurred, when i look at general and not focusing to at any point i see bottom, i read the manuel but i couldn't find any settings for VF like contrast etc.. Also searched on net for same problem but there is none.
Do i have eye problem, afaik i haven't got.

Not all lens barrels rotate, all the ones in my collection do not. The ones that do are the exception rather than the rule and for those types you will notice that you cant focus zoomed then open the frame, the focus will change. The exactly terminology is escaping me at the moment.

As for making the right choice...are you happy with it? Thats what matters.

that is all that really matters, if you are happy with it, then it is the right choice.
