Default Canon T2i with 55-250mm DOF test image

It's snowing in Denver. So not a good idea to shoot outside.
Took few pictures from inside the double pane window to test DOF. It's really amazing how much f5.6 and f32 differ when you open both images in separate windows and switch.
Level adjusted in PS.

1. (20110109)1/500sec-ISO_1250-f5.6-250mm. Wide aperture, great DOF. White specs are falling snow.

2. Same picture as above but at f32. Not good bokeh.
(20110109)1/500sec-ISO_1250-f32-250mm. Same picture as previous one but with smaller aperture. Not good bokeh.

It was having trouble focusing due to many small branches but very good auto focus system.
The results are decent with the cheapest IS telephoto lens.
Thanks for comments.

One more at full 250mm... pretty good bokeh.

That is something you get with long zoom lens with good separation from you subject and background.

Looks like I have more than enough camera to take great shots.
All I have to do is improve my skill set. And that's not going to be easy.
