Default 60d is looking real good to me... but I'm lost when it comes to the lenses

I'm fairly new to photography... but so far I've went thru cameras Sony Cybershot DSC-F828, Sony A200, and NOW I'm making the switch to the Canon 60d.

The Sony Cybershot got me really spoiled on the killer lens. However, I loved the improvement of the shutter speed with the a200. The lens quality PALED in comparison to the one of the f828.

SO... now, I'm loading the "gun" with information before I officially pull the trigger on the Canon 60d and the lens/lenses I should buy.

I take pix of ppl, orchids/flowers/macro nature, pets...(whatever really).... add me on Facebook Mikell Wells to check out some samples of my work.

I desire to get more serious, but as many of you... I'm on a budget.

ANY suggestions, or comments will be GREATLY appreciated.

For what you want to do, the canon 60D with the ef-s 18-55 and the ef-s55-250 and the canon 500D close up lens at 58mm would actually cover everything you want. And keep cost down. Now if you want a more of a walk around lens. I would look at the 15-85 and the 70-300 site up and the 58mm 500D close up lens. Unless you want to go whole hog into a true macro lens, I love my ef 100 2.8.

So depending on your budget, we can most likely work a lens setup for what you want to shoot.

My budget is somewhere around 1,500.
I need a graphics tablet/stylus too. (so that's incl in the budget)
I know I'm cutting it close.... but eh, I'm going to "pinch my penny" till it screams. And I'm going to stretch my penny as far as it will go until it looks like copper wire hahaha

60D I would get the 18-55 and the 55-250 and add the 500D at 58mm. And it will cover everything.

The other option is give up some range, get the 18-135, the 77mm 500D close lens and a 77mm to 67mm step up ring. The first option has better image quality.
