Default I love being a CPS Gold member :)

Canon has just contacted me to say that I can have a free two day rental of either the 1DmkIV or 70-200mm f2.8 mkII...... hmmmmmm sounds good to me. Now I just need to find a weekend with some good action going on and get the 1DmkIV for a play, should be good.

I'm a little excited and worried at the same time..... worried that I might decide I need to buy one after LOL.

You're doomed. Just be glad they didn't offer you a free 400mm 2.8 II rental

LOL, I know guys but I'm not shooting enough sports to justify it and being married now I can't just pop out and get one. In honesty for what I do mainly now getting another 5DmkII or wait for the replacement next year is better. The 1DmkIII and 7D cover me enough when I do sports...... well that's what I'm going to keep telling myself LOL.

CPS = Canon Professional Services. Special perks for the pros to keep them shooting, available at a price.

Here (in Europe) there is no cost, just that you need to have a set number of bodies and lenses. They vary in rank so not all qualify for all levels.
