Default 60d digital Zoom

The T3i can digitally zoom in HD to the center pixels, the 60d can only digitally zoom in VGA mode. Anyone know of an upgrade that will allow the 60d zoom in full HD mode?

That's a really good question... and I'd like to know as well.

doubt it will be any time soon, canon's facility in japan is shut down for now. So we may not see any firmware upgrade anytime soon if they decide to add it. 7D users are still wanting the audio of the t2i. Let alone the audio controls of the 60D.

Looks like Canon has a firmware update, too bad they didn't include the HD zoom.
