I'm assuming that it's not the mirror noise that bothers you, but the fact that it is distracting and makes people notice that a camera is being used. You can shift their attention if you take a small tin with several marbles in it, tie it to your belt and jiggle it starting well before the shutter release. they'll never notice the camera sound :twisted:
