Default Is underwater photography with rebel possible w/o 999999$ ?

I am assuming because it is an SLR with different lens sizes, an underwater housing is pretty much completly out of my price range x1000, but it doesnt hurt to ask I suppose

I used one for the D7 (and another for my CP990); However they are only good for snorkeling depht!

... It depends on the lens you want on @ the time (and not the camera), i.e. with a 82mm front filter thread for my Wide Angle:

-> Smaller lenses opening are cheaper (like always) to acquire!

This is not quit the correct forum but its the one I read all the time . I am going on a cruise. I have a Digital Rebel and a Olympus 750uz. I decided to bring only the onlympus along with me as it is small, light and I have enough memory cards not to have to bring a laptop to download photos to. I bought the olympus undewater housing for the camera. I feel really nervious sticking my camera in the water even in the housing. It seems you have to be really careful. Also do you think iso 100 with a the built in flash will have good results? I wanted to take the Digital Rebel for the picture quality but I think I'll be happy with the picture.
