Default best bag for 5D MkII and a few lens's

Im upgrading from a 400D to a 5D Mk II ( got a very good 2nd hand price).
Im pretty sure the 5D MkII wont fit in my Lowe Pro stealth reporter D100, if i want to squeeze in a lens or two.

My gear list that i want to carry with me is:

Canon 5D Mk2 with 20-70 F2.8 L Lens
Canon 70-200 F4 L
Canon 50mm 1.4
Canon 430ex II Flash
Lens hoods and a few small accessores ( cf cards and that).

My two main questions are:

1. from experience, would i be better with a shoulder bag or small backpack?
2. what brand/model would you recommend?

A backpack if you want to carry all that at the same time. I find backpack more comfortable with a heavy load than a shoulder bag. Maybe because the weight balanced across two shoulders instead of one.

Lowepro has some good backpacks in various sizes.

The 5D MK II is a large camera and with large L lenses, you need a backpack rather than than a sling bag or shoulder bag. I agree with Dr. Spock on that choice. I also upgraded to a 5D MK II recently, my sling back is now too small even just with one L lens.

I went into a photography store and tried out a few bags. Based on my gear ( 5d, 24-70 lens, 70-200 Lens, 50mm Lens, flash and a few other small bits and bobs) i got the lowePro 302aw. It fits everything comfortably.

Ok, not much room for any new lens's but im not planning on picking up any for a while, and i wanted a compact as possible bag, not a huge bag with lots of free space.

Thanks for the advice all.
