Default Camera repair for T2i... where and how much?

Long story short...

I saw a baby caterpillar dangling from a window and wanted to take a picture. I have one of those $10ish reverse macro lens rings and for some strange reason, felt compelled to screw it into my T2i camera by itself, instead of screwing it on the lens and THEN to the camera.

Now it is stuck on the camera. I tried pliers, but it was of no use. I figure, instead of potentially damaging the actual camera, it would probably be best for me to just send it off to be repaired somewhere.

Unfortunately, Canon's website for the US seem to be down right now, so I can't find out anything I need. Does anyone know how much something like this would set me back, or, if there is a better alternative to turn to?

Thanks.

Any good camera shop should be able to do that for you.

Thanks. Any estimation on around how much it would cost?

No, but they can probably do it while you wait.
