Been a while since I posted. The D40 is packed away as I took maybe 15 photos with it total, I bought a remote for it in the hopes of using it a lot but I honestly don't care for DSLR cameras. I am using my Travel camera now as it is light and easy to carry.
Looking to sell the 40 now as it hasn't been used for some months now. DSLR cameras are just not for me.

Is there anything specific (besides "big", "heavy" and "expensive") about dSLRs in general or the 40D in particular that you're dissatisfied with?

G'day TC

I don't wish to intrude into Eysha's response, but one answer to your Q could be 'changing damn lenses as the one on now is not the one I need' ...

The 40D has a 10MP sensor, but, yeah, "big", "heavy" and "expensive" will come back to haunt you every time.

TCav, the 40D only ahs 6megs, it is the 40DX that has the 10megs and was only a few months behind the 40D in being brought out.

The Canon 40D has a 10MP sensor. (See Canon EOS 40D Specifications.)

The Nikon D40 has a 6MP sensor while the Nikon D40X has a 10MP sensor.

The greater the zoom range of a lens, the more of a compromise it is, and the more you give up in order to get what you want.
