Anyone know of a Palm rempte app that can contol remote shutter release for the Rebel?

Sure would be cool. I'd write one if I could.

does anyone know about a java program that could control the IR port on a phone to control the D300? I have a SonyEricsson K700, you can load java applications on it, and it has an infrared port....Any ideas?

I have a Sony Clie PEG T665 Palm handheld that comes with built in remote control software. Haven't found a setting that works with the Canon yet.

EDIT: I did find this web site, but it was no help to me.
