How much do I love digital photography???? Since I bought the 10d on January 29th, I have taken over 12,000 photos with it! A lot for work and A LOT for pleasure...thats around a hundred a day!

My point is that if this were film I worked out the costs to be 12,000 divided by 36 exposures = 333.Multiply that by €12 for buying, developing and printing each film and that comes to €3996...WELL above what I paid for the camera. Now obviously I shot a lot more "Unsparingly" than if I was using film, but that emphasises my point even more. You can take that many more pics, you end up with more good shots, and simply delete the bad ones!!! Who can argue with that???? It will make better photographers of us all!!!! :?

I am at 8200, not counting the 400 with body #1 that went bad on me. I love my 10D!

...excellent! On a greener note, what with PC slideshows, handheld image viewers, email etc., just think how many trees are saved by the fact that only a fraction of prints are now printed by most folk! I remember the days of waiting 2 weeks for my 36prints to arrive, only to be disappointed that I only liked one ortwo (I WAS only 14 or so!). I´m with you Gandalph, I love it too!

This isn't a fair comparison really, but I've just shot over 17,000 images in five days!

All were shot on my Canon 10D which has worked without even a hiccup.

I've been shooting marathons.

Wow! Are you going to photoshop them all? :?Is that one of the events you photograph? If so, do you make decent money from it?
