Just got the MkII a few days ago, - and are slowly learning.

However I seem to have a problem connecting the MkII via firewire to my PC.

The USB connection works as expected, - and using the firewire, the PC identifies the camera, and it "shows up" both within the Canon Utility Program and also in the controlpanels Camera & Scanner section.

However, when opening the Canon program and clicking on the camera icon of the MkII nothing happens and I cannot communicate or gain access to the memorycards/files this or any other way by firewire!

Have tried erasing and reinstalling the drivers, programs, etc, - but nothing works.

Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated before I blow a major fuse!
