After trying couple of RAW converter freewares I was positively surprised whenI bumped intofreeware called IrfanView. It handled my RAW files nicely, good interface too.Apparently it uses the same raw conversion algorhytm than Photoshop CS. What kind of experiences have you had withIrfanview?

I don't have a Canon (so why am I here? I don't know), but I LOVE IrfanView. I use it as my default handler for all types of image files.

I beliebe both IRFanView uses the Canon made software development toolkit for the conversion. IRFanView uses the same software.

And it is a handy program, I agree. For what it does, itsa steal.

According to http://www.cybercom.net/~dcoffin/dcraw/Irfanview uses DRAW (or part of it) in it's RAW conversion
