I just went and picked up a 7 in 1 USB 2.0 card reader for about 10 bucks. Can't beat that price and it's definately faster than the Digital Rebel is. Thanks for the input.

I bought it a t a local store called Media Markt. I am in the military and just recently stationed in Germany, near Wurzburg. Media Markt is a lot like a Best Buy anda Comp USA put together. The reader seems to wrok great, I don't know what the difference between this one and the ones thatcost 30 or 40 dollars. Works great for what I want.

The difference is probably the interface. The $10 ones are generally USB 1.1 while the $30 are USB 2.0 and/or firewire.

This one is also 2.0. That was something I made sure of before I bought it. It's not a brand name, but it looks just like a few other brands on the market. It came in a small plastic package with not much inside. It's generic, but fast enough.
