Default D-30 macro

I have it narrowed down to two options. 1 vivitar 100mm macro 1:1 for 85.00 or a Sigma28-80 macro 1:2 for 120.00. I do love my macro shots and would hope to double for portraits. These are the best I can afford at the moment. I would think the prime would be better but have never used one, and it's cheaper. and I have a 50-500. HELP I can't decide.

I think if you already decided your budget within that two lenses, go with the fix focal Vivitar 10mm macro, you probably get a better result, the Sigma 28-80mm macro is a joke and this lens probably has the plastic lens mount also...cheers

Thank you. I do believe the vivitar has a steal mount, every piece of info helps. 200 heads are better than one.
