A month ago or so, I sent my 300D to Canon complaining of pics coming out too dark in TV,AV, P modes. They sent it back to me and said they "adjusted exposure". Unfortunately, the problem wasn't resolved. So I took some sample pics and burned them on a CD and sent them with the camera this time. I can't know if they looked at my pics, but this time I received my camera back and it seems to be working fine in auto modes. I saw another post on this site about underexposed pics, and those samples were extremely dark. My underexposed pics were generally about 2 stops underexposedwhen compared with another DReb side by side. This problem may have existed with my camera since I bought it in December, but I've been so busy learning M mode that I was never fullyaware of the extent ofthe problem I was having with auto modes. I'm posting this to let others know about the problem my camera had, and what was done to repair it.Both times I sent my camera to Canon I received it back in about three weeks. Following are the "Service Details" I received from Canon.

Replaced major parts:1)Focusing screen plate, Data alignment_electrical adjust. _Clean lube and align. All features functions were checked using PC&MAC with USB.
