Not as fast as others: http://www.cyberphoto.se/canon/digital/20d.php

o 8.2 Mpixels (1.6x crop)
o 5 fps
o 25 shots buffer
o 1/8000 shutter speed
o 0.2s startup

That page does me no good in the language it is writtenin, although I've probably seen everything there is to see until Canon actually comes out withthe more detailedtechnical specs everyone's waiting for.

With a robust magnesium alloy body, the EOS 10D has outstanding durability and a distinctive presence. It features an ergonomic hand-grip which makes extended shooting very comfortable.

The EOS 20D is the fourth digital EOS camera to feature Direct Print. High resolution prints can be obtained by connecting straight to a Canon Bubble Jet or Card Photo Printer. The EOS 20D has FAT 16/32 data storage, allowing compatibility with high capacity CF cards over 2GB. The EOS 20D is compatible with the extensive EOS range of accessories.

TAKE NOTE OF THE EOS 10D someone forgot to edit it they just did a copy and paste of some of the 10D

Wait a second, I dont get it. Why would Canon release info about the 20D on their site, then take it down?

They didn't it was an accident... they are only readying their site until someone "leaked" a direct URL to it. This happened with the new G6 also which wasn't announced, but yet FNAC a large retailer in France offered it for sale with a valid SKU and was just as quickly shut down.

It's difficult for a multinational Co. to keep a secret when at the same time they have to prep their supply chains, and the news media... Distributors/retailers probably knew months ago they couldn't order the 10D anymore or has been credited with discounted when they entered new orders for the next model... NDA should keep the lid on, but mistakes/errors do happen.

I just might be interested in the 20D. (the price iswhat I will wait for) &IF I did buy the 20D, I will still keep my 300D, as I am Totally satisfied with it. But the Buffer & the 8.2mp in the 20D, would be enough for me to get rid of my Elan 7 - however I doubt I will EVER get rid of my EOS-3, as it is a Killer camera body! Just lacking of a dioptic corrector. And, I can use either of my older Sunpak TTL flashes with it. I keep a roll of Provia 100F loaded in it at all times. (The reason is, some magazines out there still will not take digital files).

Those 2 New lenses - EF-S? Maybe or maybe not. I mean, why would one need IS on a 17-85mm lens???? I am more interested in this new 18-50mm 2.8 EX DC coming out in September from Sigma.
