anyone know anything about the lenses that come in the 20d kits-that is are the any good. i believe that there are two body + lens kits available ..........????

1 body and 2 kit lenses

personnaly I bought the new 17-85 IS USM and I really enjoy it

There are two kits...



20d + 17-85IS

The first lens (18-55) is the same as the one shipped with 300D. As a previous owner of 300D, i must say i like the lens. Though, i have a feeling that it is worse built... Maybe i got that impression because of the 20D, as this camera is much better built than 300D...

Quality remains the same,far frommatching 17-40L... But still, its one of the best value lenses around... Besides 50/1.8..

I cannot say anything about 17-85IS. I already have 28-135IS (a full frame version of the above lens), and after reading mixed reviews on 17-85IS i have decided not to upgrade... Thats why i got kit with a smaller and cheaper brother...
